#Communication
#Mobility
#Recreational/Entertainment
#Containers
Utility Belt increases Encumbrance Threshold by 1. Backpack increases Encumbrance Threshold by 4.
#Survival
Crash Survival Kit contains a Thermal Cloak, multipurpose knife, distress beacon, two comlinks, wire spool, ration bars, a basic medpac, two respirators, water filter and jug, glow rod, 50m of microfiber, ten ration packs, and a flare gun.
#Detection Devices
Electrobinoculars let the user see in extreme low/bright light and remove up to 2 setback from long range or poor lighting. Scanner Goggles grant normal vision in the dark.
#Security
Restraining Bolts can force droids to obey commands from whoever holds the controller. PC droids may resist with a Daunting Discipline check.
#Slicing
Some form of slicing tool is required to attempt Slicing at all — Slicer Gear is the standard, permanent option.
#Medical
Medpacs let a character attempt to heal others with Medicine checks without the usual untrained penalty. A Medpac additionally grants a boost die and one free Stimpack-equivalent per scene. Relevant to this campaign: a medical droid's standard field kit would likely include a Medpac or better.
#Mechanics
Oil Bath is the droid equivalent of Bacta — used to help droids recover from damage.
#Sourcing Note
This file covers general-purpose gear from the core rulebook (non-weapon, non-armor). Restricted/illegal items that appear alongside these categories (lock breakers, stealth fields, slicing "Data Breakers," illegal drugs, etc.) are compiled separately in Black Market.md, since they're not available through normal channels in-fiction.
